Lift people up with your words...be an encourager.

People don't want or need an arrogant presenter. They do need someone who can get on their level and speak to their needs. Be an encourager. Hurting people need medicine.

People live in a real world, so speak to where they live. Be real. Don't be afraid to tackle everyday situations. Realize that people are facing challenges, help them through these struggles as we speak to real business situations. Stories make the difference.

Don't give all the details that you know on a subject; break it down for the audience.  It is ok to be simple. You don't have to prove your education.

Speak to where they are living. Look in their faces when you speak. Their expression will tell if you are communicating with them or talking over them. Are they excited? Are they bored? Read your audience.
